Stadium CGI / Architectural visualisation
Stadium CGI visualises venue massing, seating tiers, spectator routes and event lighting for planning and design review.
The stadium CGI image set assigns each aerial, bowl and interior camera to feasibility, planning, design, investment or marketing review. Aerial views locate venue massing and access, bowl views visualise seating and pitch relationships, and interior views document concourse distribution, hospitality interiors and lighting conditions.
Prepare the stadium CGI project brief ↓01 / Decisions
Stadium CGI assigns each architectural viewpoint to a planning, design or investment decision.
Each fixed stadium viewpoint locates venue massing, frames spectator space, documents circulation and hospitality, or compares an agreed lighting condition for planning, design or investment review.

- 01Venue massing
The aerial CGI locates the stadium volume, roof profile and principal facade within the site.
- 02Arrival sequence
The arrival CGI frames transport edges, public approaches and entrance plazas.
- 03Spectator spaces
The bowl CGI presents the pitch, seating tiers, concourse edges and representative event-day population.
- 04Operational routes
The operational CGI distinguishes the public, team, media and service routes visible from each camera.
- 05Lighting condition
The matched-camera sequence compares facade materials, architectural lighting and representative event-day population in daylight, dusk and match-night conditions.
Together, the five stadium CGI viewpoints connect visible venue conditions to planning, design and investment reviews.
02 / Site and arrival
Aerial and eye-level stadium renderings locate the stadium footprint, entrance plaza, access routes and surrounding landscape.
The aerial stadium CGI locates the stadium footprint, road connections and surrounding landscape. The eye-level arrival viewpoint frames stadium facade scale, entrance visibility and the spectator approach through the entrance plaza.

The aerial composition frames access, parking and landscape within the same whole-site view for feasibility and planning review.

The arrival composition shows the public realm and main entrance at human scale for concept design and planning review.
When a stadium forms part of a multi-venue campus, sports complex CGI visualises the shared access routes and landscape relationships between separate venues.
03 / Seating bowl
Seating-bowl CGI visualises the pitch-to-bowl relationship, tier geometry, roof enclosure and spectator view from agreed cameras.
The tiered spectator enclosure around the pitch is the stadium seating bowl, also described as the stands. The wide seating-bowl CGI visualises the pitch-to-bowl relationship, tier geometry, roof geometry and enclosure. The spectator-height architectural stadium 3D view frames the pitch, near seating rows and opposing tiers from an agreed seat. A seating-bowl CGI visualises tier geometry and pitch relationships; numbered seating plans and ticketing seat maps remain separate deliverables.

The seating-bowl CGI documents tier geometry, roof enclosure and event atmosphere for design-development review. Sightline certification, structural engineering and crowd-safety analysis remain separate specialist services.

- What the image records
- The spectator-height CGI frames the pitch and tier relationship from an agreed seat.
- What the team reviews
- The spectator-height CGI represents seat position, foreground obstruction and stadium atmosphere.
- When the view is used
- Design development
05 / Matched conditions
A matched stadium CGI sequence compares facade materials, entrance lighting and representative event-day population in daylight, dusk and match-night conditions.
The matched-camera sequence holds the stadium facade, arrival plaza, camera and geometry constant across daylight, dusk and match-night conditions. Architects, developers, venue operators and planning teams compare material appearance, facade illumination and representative event-day population while the camera and stadium geometry remain fixed.

The daylight stadium CGI reveals facade materials, landscape and public-realm legibility.
Camera control: fixed viewpoint with matched geometry
The dusk stadium CGI shows interior glow, facade lighting and arrival atmosphere.

The match-night stadium CGI presents event lighting, representative event-day population and venue identity.
06 / Viewpoint schedule
The stadium viewpoint schedule specifies camera position, height and lighting for feasibility, planning, design, investment or marketing review.
Each schedule row pairs one stadium viewpoint with its camera height, lighting condition, intended use and reviewing stakeholder.
| Viewpoint | Camera height | Subject | What the image records | When it is used | Reviewed by |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High aerial | 40 to 80 m | Complete stadium and site | Establish venue massing, access, parking and landscape | Feasibility and planning | Developer, architect, planning team |
| Arrival eye level | 1.6 m | Main approach and entrance | Review public realm, facade scale, signage and arrival | Concept and planning | Architect, operator, local authority |
| Wide seating bowl | 10 to 18 m | Pitch, tiers and roof edge | Review bowl geometry and pitch relationship | Concept and design development | Architect, operator, investor |
| Spectator height | 1.2 m seated | Pitch from an agreed seat | Review seat position, foreground obstruction and pitch visibility | Design development | Architect and operator |
| Public concourse | 1.6 m | Circulation and concessions | Review concourse width, materials and destination visibility | Design development | Architect and operator |
| Match night | Agreed fixed camera | Facade or bowl under event lighting | Review lighting character and representative event-day population | Planning and marketing | Developer, operator, planning team |
The completed viewpoint schedule defines the stadium CGI image set for proposal scoping.
07 / Project information
Architectural drawings, viewpoint photographs, image priorities and the delivery deadline determine the stadium CGI proposal scope.
Architectural plans, elevations and sections define the stadium geometry. Requested viewpoints, reference photographs, image priorities and the delivery deadline establish the project brief that VisuArchitect uses to prepare the CGI proposal.
- 01How and when each image will be used
Assign each image to feasibility, planning, design review, investment or marketing.
- 02Requested image count
List the required viewpoints and rank the images by first-delivery priority.
- 03Plans, elevations and sections
Send the current DWG files. VisuArchitect accepts scaled PDFs when current DWG files are unavailable.
- 04Landscape and venue information
Include the landscape plan, seating-bowl information, facade materials, lighting specifications and any current venue schedules relevant to the requested viewpoints. If seat blocks or individual seat numbers must appear, provide the current seating plan and seating schedule in DWG or scaled PDF.
- 05Viewpoint photographs
Attach photographs from the intended camera positions. For intended camera positions with restricted access, attach wider site photographs documenting boundaries, neighbouring buildings, landscape, arrival routes and service access.
- 06Lighting and occupation
Confirm daylight, dusk or match-night requirements and the required spectator, staff and vehicle activity for each view.
- 07Deadline
Confirm the target date and identify the associated planning, investor or presentation milestone.
Thank you for considering VisuArchitect. Please email the project information as soon as you confirm the drawings, viewpoints and target date. VisuArchitect will review the confirmed image scope and prepare a formal proposal.
